Lighting Up the Season in Clawson

2025 Clawson, Michigan Tree Lighting Ceremony

On December 3, 2025, the Clawson community gathered at Memorial Park, next to Blair Memorial Library, for one of the most anticipated traditions of the season—the City of Clawson Tree Lighting Ceremony.

Despite the chill in the air, the evening was filled with warmth, excitement, and community spirit as families, neighbors, and friends came together to officially kick off the holiday season.

A Tree Lighting to Remember

The excitement grew as Santa Claus arrived by fire truck, making a grand entrance that delighted children and adults alike. It was a scene straight out of a holiday postcard, and one that perfectly captured the spirit of Clawson.

As the countdown began, a beautifully decorated tree stood ready in Memorial Park. With the flip of the switch, the tree illuminated the park, drawing cheers and smiles from the crowd and setting the tone for a festive evening ahead.

Cocoa, Cookies, and Holiday Cheer

Following the tree lighting, the celebration continued at City Hall, where guests were welcomed inside for hot cocoa, cookies, and photos with Santa. Families lingered, kids shared wish lists, and plenty of memories were made as the community came together to celebrate the season.

Events like this highlight what makes Clawson special—not just the traditions, but the people who show up year after year to support them.

Proud to Support Our Community

KILEY was proud to be one of the many sponsors who helped make this event possible. Supporting community traditions like the Clawson Tree Lighting is about more than sponsorship. It’s about investing in moments that bring people together and strengthen the fabric of our city.

We’re grateful to the City of Clawson, city staff, volunteers, first responders, and all those who worked behind the scenes to create such a memorable evening.

Thank You, Clawson

From the glowing tree and Santa’s festive arrival to the warm drinks and smiling faces, the 2025 Tree Lighting Ceremony was a wonderful reminder of the joy that comes from community connection.

We’re honored to be part of a city that values togetherness, tradition, and celebration, and we look forward to many more moments like this in the seasons to come.
